Advanced Training From World Renowned Institutions

Dr. Levi is an expert in treating orofacial and TMJ-related pain, headache disorders, and other painful disorders affecting the head and neck. A diplomat of the American Board of Orofacial Pain, she is one of only 414 board-certified orofacial pain specialists in the world. She is completed her master's of science in orofacial pain and oral medicine at the University of Southern California. Additionally, she completed a mini-residency under the tutelage of world-renowned Jefferey Okeson, DMD. She is unique in that she also trained at one of the top cancer hospitals in the world, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her dental oncology fellowship equipped her with the skillset and expertise to treat the oral side effects of cancer therapy, including chemotherapy, head, and neck radiation treatment, hematopoietic stem cell transplants, and anti-resorptive medications. Currently, she is pursuing a headache medicine certificate program at Jefferson Health, with the Jefferson Headache Center under the mentorship of world-renowned headache specialists.

Innovative Treatment

An avid reader, life-time student, and lecturer, Dr. Levi is constantly involved in research projects and continues to receive education on the latest treatments, technologies, and innovations in dental oncology, orofacial pain, dental sleep medicine, and oral medicine. Passionate about these fields, she frequently lectures physicians, dentists, hygienists, and students about oral medicine related topics.

 

She is a clinical assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Prior to working at Jefferson, she was a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital as well as a clinical adjunct professor at New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. Dr. Levi serves on the speaker's bureau of Triage Cancer and the Oncology Advisory Council of MyLifeLine.org. Additionally, she is an active and contributing member of the American Headache Center, the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC), and the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO).
